DJ Icy Ice is one of LA's premier DJs. His versatile style of DJing has him playing at the hottest exclusive club venues around the world and here in his hometown of LA (in the Hollywood/OC nightclub scene). He is also a veteran on LA's radio airwaves, currently playing for Movin 93.9 FM His mixes can also be heard on over 300 stations nationally syndicated through the Superadio Network. Icy Ice has carved out a name for himself as a respected turntablist, radio personality & entrepreneur.
Icy Ice is an original member of the World Famous Beat Junkies and has performed & rocked crowds all over the world! He's played in countries such as Japan, Canada, Mexico, Philippines, Europe, and Australia and he is currently touring as the resident DJ for Rock The Bells Concerts that features the biggest artists in Hip Hop.
Icy Ice's achievements include mixing for KKBT 100.3 The BEAT from 1995-2001, mixing for 93.5 KDAY FM from 2004-2007, making an appearance in the movie Debut, and was the resident DJ for the WNBA LA Sparks home games. He has toured as the DJ for Hip Hop Legend KRS-One and was the DJ for his radio show "The Temple Of Hip Hop" from 1998-2000. Over the years Icy Ice has DJed for many exclusive and private party events such as Shaq's Birthday Party, Grammy After Party, NBA All-Star Game After Parties, Kanye West's Party, Magic Johnson's Mid Summer Nights Event, X-Games Parties, Sundance Film Festival Parties and many more. Icy Ice is also recently featured as a character in the Scarface Video Game.
In 2001, he opened up a retail record store chain called STACKS (stacksvinyl.com) in cities such as Cerritos, San Diego & Ontario, CA. It's been named "LA's Best Hip Hop Record Store" by LA Weekly in 2004. He's also started successful record pools services such as: Global Record Pool & ExclusiveGrooves.com MP3 Pool making it easier for DJs to attain the hottest vinyl & MP3s out. While STACKS certainly stands as a successful retail store chain, the company will expand into the mobile phone market as a worldwide content provider for mobile phones. Stacksmobile will be coming later this year 07'.
Icy Ice will continue to keep crowds rockin' whether it's through the radio airwaves, or live in clubs/concerts. He'll also continue to push the boundaries as a DJ/ entrepreneur making his contributions to the music industry & culture through his businesses.
